As a self-driven University of Maryland graduate, my skills have flourished through diverse experiences – solo freelancing, internships, and small design teams in both design agencies and product based companies.
My portfolio showcases impactful projects, from e-learning platforms to VR meditation apps. Passionate about shaping the future of user-centered design, I eagerly welcome new challenges to craft meaningful solutions, spanning industries like finance, education, data-visualization and transportation.
My first step is to identify the core challenges that stand in the way of business growth and success.
It results in understanding the need and scope of required solutions.
Set up project goals.
Research the personas, competitors, and best industry practices.
Create the informational architecture.
Plan the visual direction.
Present the project roadmap.
Design the low-fidelity wireframes which help with the approval of the content structure and the core functionality of a website/digital product.
Creation of a visual ‘look and feel’ for the website/digital product in the form of high fidelity wireframes(using Figma).
WordPress(Elementor) lets me finalize projects faster without sacrificing quality. I make sure that a website is optimized to follow modern web practices, such as speed , security, and reliability.
At the end of each project, I provide my clients with tutorials explaining how to maintain the website(use CMS, improve SEO, solve technical issues).

Enhancing the design system and creating new icons to improve the UI designs by focusing on the readability of the data visualisations. Using heuristic usability testing to update the designs to improve the actionability for all the key stakeholders on the national transportation data.

Used design thinking approach & collaborated with other intern to create a meditation application (Away-sis) using biophysical monitoring for a Virtual Reality(VR) space.
Created 3D models and used human-centred design techniques to enable a state of deep meditation (low cognitive load) by focusing on different physical senses which was demonstrated to 30 medical practitioners & caregivers.

I am currently in my 3rd semester of the master’s program and have completed courses like: Interaction Design Studio, Personal Health Informatics, Research Methods, Visual Design, and Usability Testing. I am currently enrolled in Capstone, Interactive technologies in HCI, and Advanced Visual Design.

Created logos for Baba Building Solutions(Residential Home building company), Box of Threads(Fashion brand).
Created branding, brand strategy, UI designs for an international non profit organization.

Worked for a design agency as a sole UI Designer to create wireframes, Hi-fi mockups, and prototypes for apps and websites.
Led the discussions with both the dev team and the clients for 4 projects which saw a rise in conversion rate by 20-30%

Used Java, SQL, UNIX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript to handle new enhancements for banking products used by DBS, BNP, ABN, JP Morgan, etc.
Transitioned from software developer to dedicated UI/UX specialist, bringing design expertise from agency roles and freelance projects across diverse sectors including finance, consulting, education, and healthcare.
This natural caring ability makes me a quality-focused product designer and a responsible team player.
